Formula 1 2007

Yep, that has been mentioned, if it is true, kinda makes Lewis look like a bit of a twit!!

Well team mates do share setup information, even Shummi used Rubens setup information on the odd occasion. But i think that with the championship been so close, then cant blame Alonso can you.

Twit or not, he is leading the WC in his first season with 3 races to go... more than can be said of either Ferrari driver.

Correct, will be a huge laugh if he loses it at the end :D

Can you just imagine the commentators next year if he does win. Hell look how bad they were when JB one his first race after trying for a 100 odd races. Wish there were other commentators to listen too. Martin is not too bad but James is insufferable.

YES!! If LH wins, I swear James is going to have a seizure and Martin is going to have to do first aid on him :D

Yes it especially helps if one has Ferarri technical data, and data on Ferarri setups. He should have lost his points right along with that cheating team, cannot tell me that a driver does not benefit from this spineless underhanded cheating. Nor can one tell me they do not know what's going on in that paddock, he was fully aware of the underhanded tricks used, and he was more than willing to participate in it. His driving skills are menial, any fool can accomplish what he had done in such a fast car, the difference between him and the ferarri drivers is the fact that both Raikonnen and Massa, did not get an easy hand out. They had to work their way up from Sauber which was a mid-pack team.

Look at Sebastian Vettel for example, the most demanded young driver and the only one with two contracts from two different teams, yet where is he placed? in a Torro Rosso...Having proven during Friday practice last year already, that he is blindingly fast in a BMW who last year wasn't nearly as competitive as this year.

The man who lost that seat to Hamilton (Gary Paffett)has a career win percentage of 46% compared to Hamilton's meager 31% in his career. Any one of those drivers in that paddock, could have led the championship with a car that had been reliable and a second faster than anything other than the one it plagiarized data from.

I agree. Formula One is more than 90% about the car you drive and less than 10% is about driver skills. If all the drivers were driving the same car then you would be able to seperate the men from the boys. But right now the team with the fastest most reliable car (ie fairly deep pockets) will always produce winning drivers.

Alonso's last two championships would somewhat deflect from the deep pockets argument

alonso has skillz thats for sure

alonso is an awesome formula1 driver

hamilton just got into f1 with the best car

well said baron, ive been saying this since the start of the season finally someone who put it better i ever could

Have to agree, Alonso is a dam fast driver, just wish he would learn to stop moaning when something doesn't go his way.

Lewis has been groomed since the age of 13 by Ron and McLaren, a very luck boy indeed. If he was in a Torro Rosso or a Toyota etc he would be lucky to have one point.

His arse just fell in the butter and the real Lewis is coming out as the season continues and many people are seeing the light!

I hope Alonso leaves McLaren and they get someone else to parnter Lewis, because Lewis will always be the teachers pet, so they must just put in a "No.2" driver to be his lap dog!!

The same goes for Kimi and Massa.

I agree about alonso moving. Problem is... where to? Funny that he had the same hassles at Renault - it was always his partner that was getting the better end of the stick according to him.

Lol @ alonso and hamilton comparisons

Hamilton and Alonso are pretty evenly matched if you take the facts into consideration...
...Same car!! (surprise surprise)

Secondly, considering Hamilton has never raced F1 before this season, Alonso should be way ahead of him... but isn't!

Give credit where it is due... even if it isn't a Ferrari!
