Formula 1 2007

That was a compliment! :D

Have a read from another perspective...

It's refreshing...

What kind of fool do you take me for?:p

Yes it is refreshing, refreshingly biased:rolleyes: Just check all the Macca stories at the bottom of the page and:
  • Hamilton = British
  • Maclaren = British
  • BBC = British

No wonder Alonso feels alienated.

This is the British press we are talking about. The same guys who threw their toys out of the crib because of Polly's "rugby tackle" on Peterson in the T20:p

Some things we learnt or were reminded of with Fiji

1.) Ferrari still remain supremely arrogant and / or supremely stupid. They chose the wrong tyres and are now trying to put the blame everywhere else. I can't decide whether it was arrogance or stupidity that made them start on those tyres when every single other team was on extreme wets.

2.) Alonso still does not know how to drive in the rain. Cast your mind back to Brazil 4 years ago (2003).

Now that I have got all the Ferrari fans, Alonso fans or just plain anti-hami fans backs' up... I am gonna run and hide.

And I'm gonna sit out here and shout

HAMILTON FOR THE WIN!!!

come out come out wherever you are.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion here, the season is over in mine so if your comment was made beginning of the season, you would've been dragged over the coals. ;)

You do know how unbearable that is going to make next year with those whinging commentators ? :(

Though I'm rooting for Hamilton, I'm not looking forward to the commentators going on about him! Remember how they went on when Button FINALLY won a race?

Yep - blame Bernie for the TV costs - we would have choice otherwise...

I have the german commentators to deal with, but they're ok - not really biased in anyway when a german doesn't win.
A bonus here is that you are able select on your decoder what you want to watch. ie: you can watch from a driver cam, view live stats of track times/positions, etc., watch the highlights version, watch the main channel or combinations thereof. I guess DSTV have a lot of catching up to do when I compare.

As much as the comentators go on about the british drivers, I will take them over Sasha and co anyday of the week and twice on weekends. For a start it would be nice to get someone who can say more then four words without having to look down at his notes. Anyway...

I am rather confident that hami will take the championship this weekend. Hopefully Mclaren will release Alonso and replace him with Heiki or Robert Kubica or in a perfect world with Kimi. Ralph will retire and disappear into nothingness.

It would be rather interesting if we had several races with rain like Japan and Alonso crashed into Massa in each one. Who would have the biggest dropped lip?

As much as I support McLaren and I'll admit I was a little (only a very little) caught up in the Hamlitonmania towards the early part of this season, my dislike for him is growing more and more each time he opens his mouth. Granted the press, espcially the british press love blowing his statements out of proportion, but it would be nice if he just shut up and did his racing on track.

With that, I'll take my own advise and shut up (for now).

I hope he gets banned and they take away his 10 points and also give him 10 grid place penalty.. then raiki can win :)

when are they deciding on this?

First the constructors' title, now the drivers' title (maybe) to be decided off the track?

Pass the remote, where's the sport?

Lol - only because they don't have a choice.
Remember there has only ever been one german WC.
And Ferrari were nothing without him and Scheckter...
They have only won the WC with those two drivers... ever!

Lol - as a Ferrari supporter, I imagine this is your only hope - strip the opposition :D

I am not a ferrari supporter ..I am raiki supporter..
I will take it anyway i can ;)
