Way to go, iBurst!
I must say that I am very impressed with iBurst since the revised packages were introduced, and this makes it even better. I don't miss the 64 Kbit/s service falling away, since on my package I only pay R59 per additional gig - a massive improvement over the R199 demanded previously.
Will definitely queue up a few downloads for the early hours and see how it goes. So long as the billing works out as it should, I think this is a very positive step forward. In the past 6 months or so even average latency has improved to the point that I can fire up CoD4 at just about any time of day or night for an acceptable (if not brilliant) online fragfest.
The wording of the press releases leads me to believe that this will be a paid service after the trial - I must say that to remain competitive with the plunging price of the various aDSL offerings, I hope that it is not too expensive.
Let's wait and see...
