Theres also lots of guys selling their second hand modems so u might be able to get one for a decent price.

If u keen on going the contract route rather start with a lower contract and upgrade if required, downgrading is painfully expensive...
 
After the incident of my 128k VAS being deactivated for no apparent reason it seems like I don't benefit from the uncapped after hours deal :/ My 128 VAS was reactivated this morning so surly I should be uncapped now. Heres the speeds I'm getting :"(

You can not reach your cap, you have to have data in your bucket to be able to use the "midnight" service deal.

Actually no. If you are paying for a VAS you don't have to have bandwidth. That is what Ronald said somewhere in this thread(not those exact words) and thats how it worked last month.
 
Its official, im like 30GBs in and downloaded like a horse on steroids.. average GB per night is like 2.2GB not bad....
 
Im still capped after hours. This sucks, I want to download the internet!

Edit: Nvm it seem to be working, I can finish downloading the whole interwebz

My torrents that I test the speed with seem to not be working today, and steam didn't want to connect either ... anyone else have any problems?

EDIT: It might be a side effect from that issue from yesterday. Hopefully tomorrow things are back to normal.

WTF me too.. downloading at 5- 12kbs per second.. this is bull****
 
All good and well, but the last bit of my cap was used for some reason, although there was only a few MB's left so it isn't a problem. But I have been trying since yesterday to log into the site to buy more bandwidth without any success. Just keep getting a logon error. Really don't want to go the call centre route.

May be because of our hectic downloading sessions... hehehe... oh well if it makes you feel better i could only download 200mb last night ;)

But lightning doesnt strike twice on the same place.
