Free iBurst bandwidth after midnight

Right, so rooigevaar, my understanding is this: (Please correct me if I'm wrong) ;)

If I'm currently on a Wireless 8 package, for every 8GB that I use after hours, 1GB will be deducted from my monthly cap? Thus, in theory, if I only log on from 00:00 - 08:00, I would have a total of 64GB at my disposal for the month? :D

Factor of 7. (Hence night 56gigs for 8gigs)

Yebo, if you only log on 00:00 - 08:00

And if you blow your cap and are on Wireless 5 and you buy a 1GB booster you can download 5GB Morning to Midnight (a free 4GB) That works out at a price of R11.80 a gig.

So every time you buy another booster (Wireless 2 and up) you "reset" your free allocation? Is that correct?

I am interested with that free internet midnight. I want to subscribe in iBurst! :D

Great to have you visit here. The free trial is ending at the end of June. From 1 July it will be available as a VAS as part of our Uncapped offering [BTW: We have had these long before any of the current crop started making it more popular!]
Additionally, it will still be free with the benefit being proportional to your package.

Something to consider with the after hours coming to an end, I may be wrong but here it is:

The iburst daily usage reports are run (i guess) at about 7am every day. This means that on your usage reports for after hours, it only includes usage untill 7am (and I assume that the 7->8 will reflect on the following days report)

Because that last hour may reflect on the NEXT day's report, that means on the 1st o july, you might see after hours usage even though you didn't use after hours that day. So that means there might be a chance that you lose some of your july cap to that last hour of usage on June 30.

Although I don't know how the system works and it may cater for this but just to be safe: maybe stop downloading at 7am on the 30th.

I know it's probably been asked, so will there be a payed for option on the lower packages to still have the midnight bandwidth not count towards your cap?

Yes, the Anytime Uncapped VAS has the free Midnight to Morning added to it which provides the feature. The Anytime Uncapped VAS is available from Wireless 1 and upwards.

I always suspected Jannie was Bubbles in disguise!

Ps. Got bored of my "90GB" in a month, stoped 2 days ago at 41GB... there really is nothing to download.
