Frogfoot performance issues in George

Going for CISP 50/50
was on the 100/100, but i knew that was overkill for only me and the wife :D

CISP online application is bit eh though, so sent them a email. Let's see how things go!

Had lots of packet drops and a borderline outage yesterday as well.

International traffic is still throttled and after a few weeks of complaining / having support engineers log in via anydesk and agree that something's wrong - it's still a problem, although it seems rather hit and miss.
A bit better the last week (overall), but still getting these sort of results on 100mbps:

Was offline from noon till 8pm - frogfoot cable outage which affected a large area.

Seeing massive packetloss now that it's back on.

Plugging in my cell for USB tethering, I'm getting the same bad connection. Seems like a main backhaul then :(

Haven't been able to use my phone data for a few months.. messaging comes through, but any web traffic or pretty much any other apps don't have any internet access..

Few friends have the same thing on MTN.
Place is falling apart. :p

On MTN Sky package, 30 GB data but works great on the phone itself, but kak on usb tethering.

Tested my connection the way you did.
My new line is a 50mbps with cool ideas.

Been a while.

Have been getting atleast 1-2 outages a week, or even day.
Just had another for a minute of complete outage and now routes are all screwy with very high latency to certain services.

Guess we've just given up complaining and gotten used to the shoddy Frogfoot - which is really unacceptable.

-Got sidetracked, Frogfoot offline again.. So that's twice today already.
Looks like this second outage isn't as quick as the previous one..
Edit: Make that 3 times.

Looking at the Frogfoot PE thread it's scorched earth - people are beyond angry.

Thanks @Frogfoot Fibre

I noticed the same thing.

My TeamSpeak would drop, opening networkstatus monitor tool i can see random spikes after each 5mins and followed by disconnect.

Yesterday 3 times, the one around 10pm was worse, had to use my phones lte.

Now that I'm mentioning it, ive used my phone at least 5 times this month ?! How shyt is that.

This is still ' Good " compared to the random disconnects last few days

Plugged in another router to test as well. Tenda, other one was the TP Link.

Still seeing the same issue!

Haven't really been monitoring the line as it's just depressing to see the amount of outages.

That said, I started up monitoring the line since you asked - and within 3 minutes this is what I see:

Two outages in the last 10 minutes since I switched my PC on.

So who's the problem.. Frogfoot says the ISP, the ISP says they see no issue.
Is this one of those, wait a few months it will resolve itself probelms?

Seems like both my routers are dropping packets, no idea why this is.
Updated firmware, driver, reset both routers.
