Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

There seems to be some packet loss starting at around 21h00 last night. Anyone else?

I am on Frogfoot with Vox and have no issues where I live in PLZ. More my frikking TP-Link WiFi router that drops.

In all honesty I would rather sit with a router being the issue than the line. A router can be replaced with relative ease, but logging a call and getting it attended to by your ISP/FNO is a headache on the best of days.

Guys help me out here: After the fibre break in George with high latencies about 10 days ago - my line jumped from 11-12ms latency (where it has been for over a year since installing FTTH) to CT to 21ms. And has stayed there. Still routing via CT.

Speeds are fine - 100/100.

VOX are useless. Dealing with their support has become torture.

They tried saying anything under 50ms is good, I told them my DSL gave me low 40's so stop with the BS.

Suggestions at this stage ? Considering moving to Cool Ideas.

Is it VOX or FrogFoot ? Neither seems to want to do anything about it.

i would assume FF as they would have rerouted users and perhaps left them there to balance capacity? DM me and i can give you someone to contact at FF

Anyone been disconnected for a few mins this evening? Wierdly enough my Openserve line also has gone down at the exact time

Technically they are the same company but yeah not the same.

The issue might be with VLANS but in PE there is just 2 VLANs 1 to JHB and one to CPT. If the latency is bad to CPT and you aren't going via JHB then ISP change will likely not fix the issue.

Checked on a client who is on Vox business fibre, 1.1.1.1 is about 20ms

My old home connection is about 10ms (Rocketnet on FF)
