Yeah, when I had rain then I also used PCC to load-balance and aggregate my traffic and also got it to send video streams via FF while it was up, and Rain when it was down. It was quite a smart setup.

Keen to get that going again, as FF is leaving me with no other choice it seems.

Yeah, life in SA is all about redundancy I suppose.

You need solar to supplement Eskom
You need water to combat the drought and dry taps
And you need backup internet for your froggin' awesome fibre

If all you have is Frogfoot, I'd say stay away. Let your ADSL break and then get LTE, or hopefully by the time your ADSL breaks, you have someone else who trenched fibre outside your house!
