Frogfoot

No issues - they are good at building networks.

As always, hold your ISP responsible. Often ISPs will drop the ball and then even blame the open access operator. If you only have Frogfoot, you can't change that. You can change your ISP, so choose your ISP wisely.

The OP has Frogfoot installing fibre in his/her area. They only provide infrastructure.
ISP choice would be CISP as my recommendation.

2 years later i know, but apparently Frogfoot is the one to avoid at all costs. Hello peter has less than 2 pages of 4/5 star ratings and over 30 pages of 1 star ones. They busy in my area at the moment and I am leaning more towards keeping my slow ADSL then taking a chance in a company with such a low trust rating.

FF depends on where, they utterly messed up their PE side, so there I'd wait a while still.

E.g. Cape Town is generally okay, over the last few months there have been 3/4 longer outages because they messed up switch upgrades, which is quite annoying, but generally been more stable than my DSL was.

They are also generally ok in Gauteng, well PTA East at least

But yes they underprovisioned completely in PE and the Southern Cape (George etc)

Thank you, this is the info I wasn't finding in the reviews etc.

Yes been with Frogfoot / Vox here in Cape Town for over two years now with only minor glitches - very happy with near max line speeds as well :)

These potatoes cannot get hold of me purely to drop an ONT off. I already have an installation, I only need the damn ONT.
