Another question. Does anyone know if CSS wil connect CCTV to the Vuma network?

Also we saw about 6 fibre ducts(about 4cm width) in one of the trenches. One of the guys told us each fibre duct will house 200 fibres!

The joy of active Ethernet ;) we get our own fiber to the aggregation point. No sharing.

Really happy we voted for them. It would've only been a few years before we needed to upgrade again.

As a community I am happy the vote went that way. once we have the fibre, it will be awesome :D

Update on trenching in our street. Trenches have been roughly refilled. Sprinkler system still laying over the plants, luckily they took care and did not damage it. And a black box has been installed in the soil. I wanted to peak inside but they locked it. View attachment 317039 1447950127259.jpg

Please don't be worried if they don't reinstate it immediately. And your sprinkler system will be put back. They first have to run the cables still, and don't want to reinstate till the fibre has been connected to the wallbox.

My black box is open, but there is not anything in there yet. They still have to pull the fibre through.

Once thing I have to say that impressed me is that they took care not to damage any of the roots of the trees around. I love how they take care and just clear the sand, not the roots. Amazing

Im not worried, Im actually really impressed. They did not damage one single plant which is absolutely great! Thanks for details on the black box.
