Would really like to see the prices tbh. Went onto the website, and all I got was register button.

Would be nice to hear your experience with VUMA from an ISP perspective.
 
Well if you guys have any questions around CISP/Cool Ideas I am happy to answer, we have been operating over Vumatels network from the beginning and are based down the road from you in Parktown North.

Do you apply throttling/shaping to your uncapped accounts? If throttling is applied, any thresholds you use so users can be aware of their "limits"?

They don't do any of that.

No throttling or limiting, basically all you can eat so long as you are one household using the line and not aggregating the service in any way.

Cancelled my MWEB account last week Friday. Had to give 1 month notice. Hopefully my fibre is in my house before end of February.

Just a quick question. If I get my fibre installed 15 February, and sign up with you guys from that day. Do you charge me pro-rata for the rest of the month, do you give me the 15odd days free, and then I pay in advance from 1 March, do I pay 1 month in advance or arrears. Just want to find out what the situation would be.

Great glad to hear it, yes so if you signup on the 15th you will be billed pro-rata for the rest of the month, and then in advance for the following month at month end.

Define household?

So if I take the 100/100 line I can transfer 60 Terabytes a month - and will still have full speed?

From my experience with every single ISP in SA that seems highly unlikely.

Household means not getting 1 fibre line and sharing it with your neighbours.

I am not sure where you will be able to store all 60 Terabytes worth of data. Dont actually think it is possibly to do that unless you are running a server at your home or something.
