Full Vodacom iPhone 6 contract prices

In what way doesn't it match ?

99.9 percent of people couldn't give a toss if they can't customize their phone more than the back ground. ios is certainly a superior operating system in that is runs super smooth and lightning fast compared to android. Even on devices with far lower hardware specs. And let's face it. Every android experience is the same and getting stale.

You're not for real, are you?

You believe that a screen size is going to cause 99.9% of jump from Android to iOS?
You really do believe that is why in the past people have selected Android over iOS?
Seriously?

Can you dial out from whatsapp directly on iOS?Can you plug in your iphone into any pc and use it as a mass storage device? There are many other instances I could point out but you seem to be very biased based on your responses on Apple devices.

I use both iOS and android and both have there positives and negatives, you seem unwilling to admit android is much more flexible, why do people go so Apple crazy?
Actually on this forum you will find the haters tend to be the fandroids. In a country where 90% of people use android where do they get off calling anyone who chooses differently a sheep ?

Let's not go to extremes. I do think that the new iphones will be the go to device for people who are image conscious and who can afford them. In fact I am sure of it.

Right now those are the people whose go to device is a Samsung (not because of the os etc but because of the marketing). But that brand and product has gotten beyond stale and has no wow factor at all. Every model looks so much the same. But pull your iphone 6 out at a party ? You will get reactions. Beautiful device. And yes...it is going to sell massive here with the young upwardly mobile emerging middle classes.

Many, many actually.

That's why I'm sure there'll be a huge portion of people that won't like the cheaper price of the iPhone. They lose what they think are bragging rights. I mean, now it's the same price as a Sony, HTC and Samsung ... :/ They can't brag about R15,000.00 phones or pretend to be better than the rest

Depending on the crowd I guess. Most those reactions are negative - whether they do it in front of you or behind your back. But you're right, you do get reactions

So snob value is its main selling point?

Thing is midnight - when you see the integration of it and how automatic things are, it's tough to go back to something simple like iOS. I mean my mom and dad may be able to manage, but the majority of people are going to battle.

I used to feel like I was in the 90s with my iOS and eventually sold it for an Android. I'd wake up to articles I want, it'd tell me traffic to my office at the right time, photo locations around me when I travel, auto add things to my calendar if I'd just been chatting about them in the week, flight or hotel details - with no interaction.

I'd wake up to the temperature out, news headline and my calendar read out to me every morning.

iOS is getting better by borrowing a few ideas from Android, like notification and one touch access. Evey version is improving - but it isn't quite there yet.
