I haven't seen any down time over the past three months. I don't use Unotelly - the quality isn't bad, but it isn't HD.

Like xrapidx said, its not HD, but the quality is not bad. Havent seen any downtime for quite a while now, and would easily run on your 4 mbps line.
 
Guys, some advice needed please:

Does Futubox still give out trials?
What is ntv pricing like? Can you provide a link to the package please? Im looking for Sky sports channels for Liverpool games. Doesnt have to be HD, but not 360p.

NTV added a lot of new channels recently like ITV3/4, Sky Arts1/2, movie & kids channels.
The first package for €14.49/R207.44 will work just fine.
 
Futubox can give you a 3 day trial for 2.95 euros. NtV just seems more stable for me. the £14.49 will be fine for you yes, I get the full one for £19, but only because I want the russian channels as well.
 
Awesome. Is it easy to watch through my ps3?

Like can I add it as a playlist or something? I don't really know how these things work.

Edit: Got the trial from NTV. Tried logging in from both my ps3 and TV internet browser and it say "cannot connect to server" Any idea why this is happening?

I don't have experience running it from a ps3 or tv internet browser.
I use an Android Mk808B media player and install XBMC with the NTV plugin and it worked great. Unfortunately my subscription expired and I can't check if it works on my side.

Check to see that you are not using a proxy server or something. They block ip adresses from the UK and maybe US. You also have to use the same ip address with what you signed up with I think. See if it works correctly on their website on your PC, they might have done maintenance work.

You can't use a playlist. You have to use XBMC with Android phone, media player, ios device or PC, or device with internet browser.

Sorry, don't know much about running it from a PS3, I have got it to run from an internet browser though, and didnt have issues.

Let us know if you don't come right with above suggestions.

Only BBC 1 is free all the freeview channels are now paid.
Think they got too much traffic with the free channels. Don't mind since the service is a lot more stable and the quality of the channels has been upgraded from something like 5**x4** to 640x360 currently, which looks better on widescreen monitors.

I didnt even notice that they are paid channels now. It does look a bit better these day, so makes sense. THe ads are still better in quality than the actual programming, strange...
 
Still not working on my internet browser on the tv or Ps3. Will perfectly on the PC. I don't really want to go the XBMC route, mostly because I can just go to their site on my PC, and I cant install XBMC on the tv or Ps3.

Can you disable proxy's on a Ps3?

See here for Universal DNS settings, can access UK/US and Europe streaming sites - http://tunlr.net/get-started/get-started-with-windows-7/ or google search DNS for a country other than UK.
Also make sure you have the latest firmware for your PS3. The PS3 or TV browser might also be blocking the flash streaming or the codec, avc that is being used, I know later versions of Android block flash video in stock browser.

In short, Futubox is cheaper than NTV, but ntv has more channels, but only some HD channels. Ntv also seems more stable than futubox.
