Is anyone familiar with PS3 laser replacements?

I need to replace a laser on a CECH-2504A (PS3 Slim) - the part number on the laser deck itself is KEM-450DAA. It's a bit confusing as I believe that part number is for the deck but these decks can have 2 different lasers but I don't see the laser part number anywhere. How compatible are these parts with each other?

I'm looking at xmods.co.za, they have a few parts available but none matching my exact part number. Any advice would be appreciated.

Xmods has these two options for the normal slim, but they don't match my part number even though they look basically identical to mine.

Xmods let me know exactly which one to get, unfortunately only the laser and not the entire tray but replacement was a lot easier than I thought it would be, easier than on the PS4 Pro actually. And now it's working again yay!
