I had no idea that this was even in the country.
Maybe checkout "Macho Nacho" on youtube, he's done some mods for RGB and maintenance for replacing his capacitors.

Is this running off of a USB card reader with a 128GB SD card or did you just use the card reader to transfer the ISO's to an external HDD (Externally powered or powered via the USB port)?
I had managed to snag one about 10 years ago off a Japanese based seller. Bought it together with the Mega LD PAC module, for Genesis/Mega Drive and Sega CD compatibility. I've replaced the caps on the module itself. So all is good. I'll have a look at that vid you've referred to for the RGB mod. Thanks.

Then the RGB Mod shouldn't be an issue for you at all.

We had a Video Store in Rosebank that had em for rent. They where also the 1st one that had the same size Laser disc movies 2.

Yip, little sd reader, only had a 32gig card laying around that I could dedicate to the console but yeah I got about 14 or 15 games on it now.

I remember seeing these kiosks in Makro and Reggies, they were so impressive.
I liked the original machine more than this one, but I liked how this ones cartridge slot slid open and closed to expose the cartridge slot.

How's the battery life?
How's the performance of the games? Lots of frame drops or is it able to to keep up?

Should handle PS1 easy.
My calculator can do that... its the gen after that where emulation needs power.

correct! totally eliminates loading times etc, starting diablo is 15seconds, on the ps1 its like 10 minutes to load up
