Game/console collectors thread

Nice . PS Vita is still one console I don't have in my collection. Been wanting one for ages.
Yep, was lucky to find a good one with original packaging and everything on Carb for R1700. Was a 30 minute drive away from me.

I've added notifications on Carb for activity on the Playstation sub-forum, helps to get things early when they come up.

Can anyone recommend a good Playstation 1 SCART connector-to-HDMI converter?
I was about to get a console today but was told the converters don't really work that well.
I have a converter cable for my Nintendo Wii-to-HDMI which works a treat.

Following on from this, can anyone recommend a decent HDMI hub? I plan to start collecting classic consoles soon and will need this.

Best gonna be OSSC and use the Compensate/component Switch if you gonna do loads of devices that use them

Personally, I only have PS2 that's on YPbPr 2 HDMI and use this HDMI switch that auto switch between YPbPr converter - The PS3(HDMI) and Switch (HDMI)

Just showing, but does not have power or AV cable though
Rad, thanks. I live overseas so it's relatively easy to get these now.

Is there any way to clean up the front panel of the console if it shows signs of dirt? This is definitely on the list of consoles I want to get.

Just got the retro NES and it's really cool.

I just cleaned mine with baby wipes.

Like to keep it untouched as much as possible.

OK great, thanks for that. Just the baby wipes themselves, or something on it to assist?
Just that and one of those glasses fibre cloths. To remove the baby wipe fluid.

I would not have used anything but you don't know where secondhand stuff has been.

EDIT : "Be informed"

Got myself this and should be delivered today.

Kinda feels fake with the name not being StarFox 64. Nintendo changed the name due to copyright expectations.

Noice, looks in great condition
It is, the controllers have a bit of wear on the cables but I'm planning on trying to fix that, controllers themselves are in really good condition though.

I felt guilty how little the guy wanted for it so I gave him a bit more than the asking price.

Fired up the old Amiga CD32. Playing a bit of Dragonstone (action rpg).
