Game/console collectors thread

Might get more if the box is included:

Well the box is not in perfect condition but OK for its age and not being kept as a collectable. Have two controllers, one fake I think. Just don't know what I did with the games.
LOL when I said are they worth anything I was thinking more 300-500 range. Surely that R1899 is taking a flyer.

I would gladly pay you your price of R500 but alas I am fair.

Check the condition of this and the price...

the one i had waaaaay back wasnt a AV cable, it was the aeriel port looking thing, you had to tune a tv channel to find your game
Mine also has the AV cable. Controllers and cables are spotless. I am missing the screws of the top cover of the console as if I remember correctly my favorite racing game did not fit in the slot and I did not want to cut the cover. So just took the screws out and removed top of console when I was playing that game.

Not really retro but touches on the collector's part.
I see Marvel Avengers got delisted last week same for all the Fifa games.

Might be a good time to buy new and keep them sealed for your grandkids one day :D

And yes I know The Avengers online part was crap but the single player section was ok enough for it to survive the culling in my view.

Edit: Suspect WRC might do the same soon seeing that Codemasters <cough> EA <cough> now own the licence.

Turn a GameCube controller ports in to bluetooth receivers.

I hope this works, then the N64 console is next.

Also if anyone in Cape Town is interested in picking up tons of retro stuff you should visit Galactic Traders in Blaauwberg Road, Table View: https://www.galactictraders.co.za/

The have a ton of games, they're overpriced but you're paying for the convenience and the fact that everything is tested beforehand. You can also trade in games for other games there, especially useful if you find yourself with duplicates and want to trade for something else.

(also while you're there, there is an Indian couple that sell samoosas next door - don't miss out).
Can highly recommend them - super fast shipping and very nice to deal with

Enjoying a bit of Mario Kart on the old 'Cube.

Do they buy as well? I have two PS Vitas that are lying in a drawer never to be used.
