I can try another title but GTA seems to be a very demanding title when it comes to GPU and RAMHave you tried other games to see whether you get the same problem? If not, maybe try verifying the game files
Let me try that, It seems in the video the same issue, but not while in benchmarking it, it is in full-screen mode as far as I know.

Try capping your FPS to 120 using riva tuner statistics server (bundled with msi afterburner) and see what happens.
Also make sure you are in fullscreen mode and not windowed or borderless windowed mode.
You can run the Rivatuner Statistics Server with the graph on to check frame times and then use the RTSS frame limiter and set it to 120FPS and check again.Let me try that, It seems in the video the same issue, but not while in benchmarking it, it is in full-screen mode as far as I know.

Your GPU is more than enough for GTAV and your memory shouldn't be a problem either. I've played on lower spec PC and the game ran just fine. I'm currently running a 1070ti with 16GB and GTAV runs like a dream.I can try another title but GTA seems to be a very demanding title when it comes to GPU and RAM
Why not both:Would propably be easier to enable the log file and then it would be very easy to check for frame time spikes.
I recall another thread on here with the same issue in GTA5, so it’s likely an issue with the game.
