Is i5 9400F = to Ryzen 5 2600 OC?

Go for a OC'ed 2600/2600X.

Instead of looking at max framerates look at the 1% low framerates as that translates to smoother gameplay. There are games where the 6 core intel is seriously taxed hinting at future limitations. That said older games will probably run better on intel.

My personal preference would be a b450 tomahawk mb with oc'ed 2600/x. But then you also have to do a price comparison, I suspect a 9400f build would be cheaper.

When I was looking the i5 9400f was comparable on price to the 2600x, the 2600 was better value and the 1% low was a bit better.

What? Where? When? How?

The RX580 8GB is from AMD, does anyone know what the Nvidia equivalent would be?

Hi nick

I bought it from evetech,it was a gigabyte Rx 580 mi ,the prices have been jacked up again though to 3999 so not worth it anymore, seemed to be only valid for a few days, there was also a gigabyte vega64 oc that was on sale for 4999 but it sold out quickly at that price point.
