Geforce 8800 Ultra ...

Its not quite just an overclock, some fiddling has improved the power consumption etc from the normal 8800gtx whereas an overclocked one would use more power.
 
It's way over priced. You can nearly afford 8800 gtx sli for that price.

its an overclock gtx with extra streams nothing really amazing for that price

rather sli 2 gtx's will kick the ultra's ass :)
 
No it's a GTX core no extra stream or anything. Just hand* picked cores clocked 37MHz higher and fitted with 1ns ram.. Waste of time that...
 
See, i was right. EVGA (in America) has a vendor card (GTX) out thats par with this.

The only thing its has is a standard faster clock than average GTX and slightly faster RAM that does basically nonthing...

A overclocked thing doesnt really use more power unless you do a voltage mod... (or am I wrong ShockG?)
 
Yeah that's right. he power consumption figures are so so, you could get the same power consumption from an overclocked card.
