Getting last mile fibre installed

Hey guys..

So I live in a little neighbourhood called Freeland Park, near Scottburgh. Relatively dense, around 110 properties.
We do have a Link Africa backhaul running straight past my house as it serves the LTE towers. I showed interest with Link Africa, however, they weren't too interested in helping us with FTTH despite giving them the contact info of 60+ households. They are however willing to provide me with FTTB at a very steep price.

But now, I've got 60+ people on a local whatsapp group.... And believe me, everyday for the last 2 months I'm getting questions regarding my quest for FTTH, and as far as I know Scottburgh South have their own Whatsapp group, also trying to build an interest database for FNO's.

Now that Link Africa themselves said they not really in the position to provide last mile themselves, who else do I approach? I've reached a slight dead end, but really determined to overcome it. Telkom is phasing copper in the area and migrating everyone over to LTE and we all know LTE can never be a proper fixed line replacement, even though it's sold as if it is.

contact the city council as we are in an agreement with them to lay
infrastructure on their turf.Please be advised to either contact the tendor
department or the ward council. The representatives there, will be able to
advise if Frogfoot will be laying infrastructure anytime soon or how to go
about getting fibre in your area. If there is fibre, place an order with an
internet service provider of your choice. Please see below link to assist with

Hi Ronald, you can register interest on the Frogfoot website, however, note that we do have allocated projects planned already. If there is sufficient interest from residents in the area, the team can take the next steps.
