Getting ripped off by your ISP?

I'm afraid I have no idea what Milltech is talking about regarding "1 star with IS" but *shrug*.

Personally, I love OpenWeb, I've been with them for a year and a half and have always had quick resolution to any problems I've encountered. They have three "tiers" of uncapped available: lite, standard and gold.

They've recently been advertising a 384kbps uncapped promotion for R196, I believe that's the Standard package. I'd suggest e-mailing [email protected] or sending a PM to MrBEEP if you want to enquire more. All their accounts, unless stated otherwise, run on a 30-day notice, should you want to cancel, so no contracts.

I'm on 4MB Gold uncapped via the Altech backbone. There are three that I know of: IS, Vodacom Business and Altech. You could probably read more about it all in the OpenWeb Uncapped Feedback thread, or ask questions there.

I've never used M-Web so I can't really say much about that, but I hear it's also pretty decent. Honestly, I'd say stay away from "unknown" ISPs, but that's just me. However, you can also read up more and ask questions in the MWeb Uncapped Subscribers thread :)

Alright thankyou I will decide between mweb and openweb later this month.

The IS system is fcked. The only bandwidth I use (and am able to use) is when noone else is using it, yet it contributes to my 'abuse total'. Abuse? WTF? How am I abusing the internet by using it! I'm paying the same amount (as those who get a decent service) to be treated like a criminal by my ISP? **** that, and **** you, IS.
