Getting the best cellular package, beware raw deals

Vodacom has slashed its mobile broadband prices over the last few months, offering its lowest ever mobile data rates to subscribers.

Errr no not really. They just extend promotions. The underlying price remains the same. Also what is up with adjectives and subjective language for only the Vodacom section?

MyBB - Here is one for you to follow up on!

Please enquire why TOPUP customers can't make use of the lower data prices from Vodacom.

I just checked to make sure - a 2GB Broadband Standard Bundle is R369.00.

And that amazing R2,00/mb OOB rate!

Nope, you get different options depending on whether you are a subscriber, topup or prepaid customer. I have a prepaid phone, the wife a topup. Went nutters trying to find the options available on prepaid on the topup. Eventually sat down with both phones next to each other and dialling the same path - different results.

It is available on Top Up. Check on Vodacom.co.za under month-to-month.

Currently not on USSD, busy fixing it.
