Something else to illustrate the differences that might be of use to OP.
Dumb Timer : They only have one setting usually for the same time every single day which isn't ideal.
Smart Timer : You can set it differently for every single day and operate it from your phone happily. Problem is by default it needs internet and this can be an issue. Also if you extend it further you can do things like auto-off when you leave the house and on when you return within X time range.
Geyserwise : You can set a time for week days and a separate time for weekends and I think up to three "slots" for each of those so not just a single time like the dumb timers. Then on top of that you have the 5-degree variance and being able to see the temperature means you can easily override it when you feel you need to.

Each program can be configured for different times and days and I never used more than 3.
Usually have mine set like this
Summer:
On 4:30am
Off 5:30am

Solar powers it the rest of the day
Weekends:
Added schedule to be on most of the day

I got the Geyserwise, on my brother-in-law's recomemndation. He is an electrician. He said, the timer also needs a contactor, to help it last longer. Don't know how that works. But Geyserwise worked out cheaper/same in the end.
Plus the geyserwise you have the option to add solar in the future.
