The crossfired 5870's were bottlenecked at 1680x1050 in all games and were bottlenecked at 1920x1080 for more CPU demanding games, GTAIV etc.

Note, that this review was done with the best CPU on the market, overclocked as well. i7 975@ 4.0Ghz. So if that CPU bottlenecks, you can be sure as hell that any other CPU will bottleneck the 5870's crossfired. On lesser CPU's (i7 [email protected] overclocked) you'd probably be bottlenecked at 1920x1080 and will have to step up to 2560x1600 in order to make use of the full potential of the 5870's crossfired.
