Ghostbusters 2016 - reboot

I dunno I'm starting to think that the director is trolling us with this trailer

And a new one.

They tried to fix a lot of the issues with the first one(notice 4 friends and more Chris H). This one definitely is slightly better.

But only just so.

Now it's not terrible, just regular bad.

Wow talk about damage control. You don't ever see a new trailer released within such a short span.
 
Looks like it is going to be a flop. A pity. I was really hoping that a modern Ghostbusters would be able to capture the magic of the first one. In their defence it was always going to be a tall order to try to beat the clever writing of Aykroyd and Ramis.

Still this just looks pathetic. :(

Going on these trailers I'd maybe watch it if it were showing on an international flight or something but I certainly wouldn't pay money specifically just to watch it. I wouldn't even rent it.

More of Chris H and Ecto 1
Less of Patty/Leslie Jones

still looks absolutely awful. I gave it a thumbs down.

Not even sure if I would TBH. I would have to be very desperate.

I might download it if somehow every other film in the world vanished. Even then though there are books so it is a tough call.
 
Hires a male receptionist to counter stereotypical attitudes... follows that up with a bunch of stereotypical jokes.

It is all a cash grab. The all female team and the male receptionist are a role reversal to demonstrate how "hip" and "cool" this movie is.

Then they follow it with an uber racial stereotype of a black lady.

This movie was made by the marketing and sales department, not a creative person.

There's a new trailer out... and it doesn't seem to be much better than the first disaster...

I haven't seen it uploaded on Youtube yet and maybe they are just going to avoid Youtube completely this time around considering what happened to their first trailer.
But yeah... there was one funny part in this trailer, when some people try to get a selfie with a ghost.
Let's hope that's not the only funny part in this movie...
