Girlfriend letting go

Yea I don't know. I think you BMI obsession is blocking your comprehension skills a bit.

Dono if I should laugh or cry... I'll do crylaugh :crylaugh:

Obsession? It's the first time I have raised it on these forums. It's a yardstick. Your question is moronic.

Nea, you keep on defending it in this thread and you've been told off already.

It's not a retarded question, it's rhetorical as it's a matter of opinion. But alas...

Women often gain weight in a relationship. I think its because they feel secure and loved unconditionally. Which says a lot about you by the way. Thumbs up.

Its a difficult decision to make though. You will be judged by her friends and family if you break it off with her now.
This is the daftest thing I've ever heard.
So women think to themselves I feel like a bug cuddly teddy bear so let me start looking like one.

I fact it's the exact opposite. It's the unloved, insecure ones that pick up weight. They use food as means to suppress their insecurities.

Women will often pick up weight once in a long term relationship.

Some yes. It is disrespectful to your partner though.

So if a woman gains weight in a relationship, the man is doing something right by making her feel secure.
If a man gains weight in a relationship, it's disrespectful to his partner?

Oh Patty :crylaugh:

Are you overweight D3nz?

I don't know how to answer that now. If I say I'm not, you may say I'm insecure in my relationship :D
The biggest I've ever been was 72kg and that was the day my younger son was born.
40kg is more likely PCOS than pregnancy.

You're a woman? Ok I understand now...

Some woman get fat in a relationship because they have a partner. In other words they were slim to get said partner, once have said partner they let go and get fat. Understand?

This does not apply to ALL woman though.

So just to update, she has PCOS.

This was one of the top 5 most unpleasant conversations i have had in my life.

And what have you decided, you going to stick with her? I can just imagine how difficult that conversation must have been.

And now we wait for the "too much cake and McDonalds" and "it's rarely a medical condition" comments to be retracted.
