Hi Thor187, I found that I was able to save to my SD Card... when I put my SD card in, I went to check out the storage I have left on it, so when I was at the settings > storage I could change the default write disk to my SD card... I hope that helps you out?

Hey I also changed that, but the apps will only install on the SD card if the developer added that function.
Still want to root this bad boy and see what he can deliver.

Not at all. Never rooted a phone before, but I can't deal with the limited memory for apps any more. Any special tips for me?
Yes, find a friend with a bit of knowledge on the subject. Its not a simple job on this phone and if you don't really understand the process you can end up with a 'bricked' phone.
All I can suggest is use google and search for MT6582 clockworkmod, MTKDroidTools and SP Flash Tool. There are lots of forums and youtube videos.
Basically you need to replace the recovery partition on the phone with a CWM version to allow MTKDroidTools to work its magic.

It looks nice but you have to choose the "Without a service plan" option seeing as we dont have AT&T here in SA and after shipping and duty it would land here at over R8000.00!!!
On top of that the "Amazon Prime" feature wouldn't work here unless you were able to somehow get a US address to enable the subscription AND have a VPN connection so the service thought your connection originated in the US. Its all too hard for that price.
Anyone having problems with the microphone on this phone? Quite a few people I talk to using the Gobii complain that my voice is not very clear.

Which rom did you use? I have rooted my previous S2 but the guides are a bit more user friendly than the one you posted.
I have had a few requests for details on the rooting process so I will be posting a new thread on the prodedure. Please be patient as I am quite busy at work so it should be up in the next day or so.

Played around with a S4 and S5 for about 20 hours. Bought this phone based on Price tag vs. specs and wow! Honestly I enjoy it more than the Galaxy's . I really can't justify forking out the K needed for a brand new S4 or S5.
If your going the cash route then Gobii IVP definitely hands down.
The duel sim card is epic. And they weren't overstating when they make mention of the ability to use all the apps.

and the touch on this phone is amazing. Coupled with swift keyboard app typing is fluid fast and a since.

GPS malfunctioning?
My GPS is extremely erratic. It does not seem to be able to obtain a fix most of the time. I installed a GPS monitoring tool from the Playstore, and after about 40 minutes it finally locked on. Have not been able to repeat that for some time now.
I will contact Kalahari to see if this is a known problem. It could be a bad connection to the GPS antenna, as the signal processing is clearly working for the WiFi, Phone, Data, Radio all to work fine.
