Have the pressure test done as GTX suggested. Hopefully it's something minor. Mine was more on the extreme side, I could not even do the 1000km required for part one of oil consumption test before the light would go on. Luckily it was discovered just before the 3 year warranty was over so they covered the repairs.
I was without the car for about a month (waiting for parts), but they provided a Polo for most of the time. I eventually ditched the car a month after the repairs were done and the oil light came on again. It could've just been the run-in process, who knows, but the warranty was over and I didn't want to take the risk or be without a car again while they sorted it out.
