Golf V GTi drivers

I suggest you hold up on the decals till errrr forever lol (Just my opinion)
Hard top sounds good, I would invest in a bigger and better rim first up.

I meant decals on the brake callipers, just S2000 on them. Not on the car.

Don't think you can go much bigger than 18's on the S2000

Lol oops, ive been reading wrong the whole day eish!:o
Ye thats good, maybe to side track you even more, just buy red Brembo calipers:p But ye "S2000" could look cool.

You can always go bigger:p I say drop it on a sexy set of 19/20s!!;)

Before the Dump Valve went I visited JMS in Benoni and did a few Dyno runs to test what my stats were. My car ran in 3rd gear at 160KW (ATW) and 344NM of Torque (ATW) and in 4th gear it worked out at 159KW (ATW) and 371 NM of Torque (ATW). I was very impressed with the results.

Thats it??? You voided your warranty over 12-13KW?

Nah ... his quotes are at the wheels. I'd guess that's about 190ish at fly wheel ... so another 40ish KW

Ah, the whole story was a bit long winded, so I only read the highlights.

Still that can't be good on your engine. Maybe one day, when I'm older and my warranty has expired :p

Thats not too bad hey. Any idea if it has an Aux input?

Yup, it does. Loads of inputs.. You can even connect a camera to it to assist with parking etc. Bluetooth adaptors, steering wheel control adaptors...list goes on and on... :)

I think cutting the dash is the only option in my case...

Looks good in your Golf though...

Thanks :)

I am sure there is another way, besides cutting the dashboard.
Maybe a Single Din DVD Unit. One where the screen retracts into the unit.

Good luck with finding a solution, but try not to cut the Dash

probably the motorplan too. but all depends on how lenient the dealer is. I know VW Hatfield allows us with serious mods, if done right.

Hi there,

Before the Dump Valve went I visited JMS in Benoni...... a

I will gladly show anyone who does not believe me, a copy of the Dyno print out. I would like to check if anything, what the increase might be now that I have done the Dump Valve, not expecting anything but I must say that the boost is holding and it feels like it is smoother in the power delivery.

I too have used Upsolute software and had some initial problems which the guys helped me out with (limp mode) also took it to JMS and ran 149KW Wheels and 345NM Wheels (2005)but my DSG kicks like a mule at times and now I have noticed that i lose boost power in certain gears sometimes... eg 1st will be fine, second kicks in and all of a sudden it does not pull.... then when third comes up it pulls perfectly again - Its so bad that I raced a 200STI, Killed him in first, second he literally pulled up next to me and when 3rd came about i dropped him again, thats how pronounced it is....think this could be a dump valve issue? The last test GAIC did for me they reckon the software was asking for 1.2 Bar but only delivering 1... any experts?? Your help will be appreciated
