Well I was chossing between a Polo Gti and Seat Cupra to replace my Velo.
Im currently driving my Mk4.
In a few weeks hopefully I will have 2 Gtis. A Mk4 and a Polo Gti...
takes a while to comprehend I guess.![]()
We've asked before and he denies us, because his worked golf is so distinctive that we'd all be able to pick it out if we saw it apparently.
Add a similar chip to the R32 - and then?
Its no point comparing a modded car to a stock car.
But, at altitude (jozi) i reckon a stock GTI is fair game for a stock R32.
whats up with GTi drivers and their heads just being a 1cm above the steering wheel ... fck how can someone drive like that?

Actually I see it more with BM drivers.
it's a VW driver thing, even Velocity drivers do that...HOW DO U SEE THE ROAD!
Had a V Gti,very nice car,but moved over to BeeMer,but the ST has good looks, prefer the Gti tho as it holds better resale value than ST
I agree with you, The ST is a nice car...nice looks.. nice performance...
but dont get why people in general compare the ST's
performance to the GTi's performance.... 2.0 Litre Engine..VS 2.5 Litre Engine...![]()
I think they compare them because of the price ? Just a thought![]()
Under-tuned to allow space for the Focus RS, which we will probably never see in SA.Ok, fair enough, the price is quite similar...
but ST drivers should not brag about being quicker than GTi's
ST's have bigger engines![]()
