Google Chrome higher speeds

I love Chrome <3 hope they've fixed the slowdown I've been experiencing in Windows 7 with this version.

Switch to the dev channel with Chrome channel changer, it's on version 4.0.203.2. V4 is even faster than v3. Got 623ms with that test

And it can finally sync bookmarks.

Only briefly tried it when it just came out, think I am gonna go download and see what the hype is about ....

is it out yet? Where can I DL? I may be blind, but can't seem to find the "update" button on chrome itself.

Click on the 'Monkey Wrench' button, then choose 'About Google Chrome', shows your current version and checks for updates. It's not yet updating to 3. I love this browser, works very well for me.

Its like being suprised that notepad is 100% faster than Microsoft word. What firefox lacks in speed, it easily gains in features.

Quikshot, go VIP Troll somewhere else.

Tried it, realized it was faster than everything else I was using, and have not gone back really.

The only thing it's lacking is customizable thumbnails, I need/want more than just 9. Firefox fast dial is the only reason Chrome is not my default browser...

Go download the Chrome channel changer if you guys wanna update to the newer version, I think the beta channel is on 3 and the dev chanel is on 4.
Here's the link for the channel changer:
http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromechannel-2.0.exe

Thanks for that link!

I love surfing with Chrome. Everything else seems rather clunky. Still use Firefox for web development (firebug and tidy html) and larger downloads (flashget link to Orbit) but otherwise I subconsciously seek out the Chrome button whenever I want to hit the web.

Yeah, that part sucks. Noscript/Flashblock would be nice as well. For ads I've been using privoxy which works quite well.

Boring article is boring...

Chrome 3 has been in beta for ages and there have been numerous threads about it already, this article is what 4 months late?
