Google Chrome is starting to suck

It's weird. Chrome on my home laptop takes so long to load pages but I noticed that it usually does this when the laptop comes out of sleep/hibernation mode. I've been using FF at home since then and it's been good. Chrome on my work machine has no issues though.
 
Safari also sucks.

Been using it as my main browser now since I started this thread. My mine gripe is with the tab organisation, there are no icons on the tabs so they all look the same. Also when you open a certain amount of tabs they start grouping them on the left and you have to scroll to get to those.

I'm also experiencing some pages that just refuse to load, then I open them up in another browser and it works instantly.

The code inspector sucks balls too.

The only thing Safari has going for it is:

1. It's still the quickest browser on my Mac (when the pages load).
2. It's the least power hungry browser and doesn't overheat my laptop when watching videos like in Chrome.

Think i'll just go back to Chrome and suffer with lagginess.

When I won the iPad from MyBB a few weeks ago, I had to google everything I didnt know how to do, which was how to create a bookmark and so on, eventually I said fsck that and downloaded chrome. I mean if you have to google how to make a bookmark the product has already failed.
 
No problems on my end, either, and my laptop isn't really high end.

Though- Chrome had become unusable until I reset everything under chrome://flags. Since then, running like a dream.
 
Firefox.

Tried chrome and I find it a bit simplistic in design. I still prefer old-skool menu on top with gazillion of options to choose from! I use it only if contents of website does not agree with firefox's extensions.

For mobile I'm using firefox again. Not only extensions from desktop version are compatible with mobile version, but also it is only browser on Android that plays flash so far.

And this is what happens when one visits wiki type website, opening nearly every link in new tab and then all other links opened in that link and so on... :D You know how it happens... tvTropes

On more serious note, history is only stored for like one year... I want it for 10 years or so. I done one nice research couple years ago out of curiosity and now I could not find anything about subject at all.
 
Since when has Chrome not been a pain to use? I removed it as soon as it didn't even want me to customise something as basic as the install location.

Opera was way better when it had all the old features. Now it's just another Chromium clone. It's usage stats have dwindled since the Next versions and most of them seem to be new users with the remaining ones split into old and new versions.

No I dont use it on a Mac. I use it on a pc running windows at night and a laptop running linux during the day. Thats why it runs fine for me.

Have a look at Avant or Otter browsers. Opera killed itself as far as I'm concerned.
 
All I know is that Firefox is one enormous pile of steaming ****. Crashes almost daily and some graphical issues too, I should get something else...

I started trying out other browsers because of Firefox issues too. It was corrupting many of the saved images, graphical artifacts sometimes appeared, it was a bit sluggish and I often had the browser crash on me.

I eventually settled on Opera. Really nice browser imo.
