Hi guys,

I've noticed something very weird now.

Google Drive (the software and web version) is telling me that I am using 3.56GB of my 5GB storage - yet, when I check the folder on my PC, I'm using 1.6GB  and yet, they look almost identical.

I've checked the "web" and emptied the trash and tried to find where the size difference comes in, but I can't - any ideas - has this happened to anyone else?

It says all the use is being used by "Drive" and not photos etc.

Do you have google doc formatted documents? I do not think they count towards your 5GB, whereas on the PC it will show up.

Just realized it would then be the other way around... maybe it hasn't finished synching.

Just a syncing issue, don't worry about it.

I've actually switched to Microsoft SkyDrive, as I've got an old account and get 25GB free storage, instead of 7GB from Google Drive.

Also, the SkyDrive desktop app takes up 16MB RAM in Windows 7, whereas the Google Drive app takes up 50MB to do exactly the same thing. And the SkyDrive system tray icon looks cool when it syncs. :)

Yep, probably still syncing the files. Also using Google drive and SkyDrive, the latter because of the additional space...
