Google Irritating Ads

Hi All,

Does anyone else find Google Ads a royal pain? Every time I open IE there it sits like a disgusting hobo in the passenger seat of my car. "Secret of a flat belly" (sic) (a scam) and "Turn $100 into $10 000 in one month trading Forex" (probably also a scam). Is there any way to get rid of this invasive rubbish?

Thanks Dequadin. I did try Chrome about a year ago but it caused issues with Vista, it disabled hyperlinks or something and MS advised me to uninstall it. The fix worked so I never reinstalled it. One concern, Chrome is a Google product and the ads are also from Google, will they allow a user to disable their own ads which are a source of revenue for them?
