It's a Visa credit card from Discovery, I just used my Shipito address as billing, and ordered from my personal VPN. Nothing special. Discovery did call to confirm that the order isn't fraud though, buy they do that for international orders sometimes.

I'm probably just lucky.

Hopefully I can get just as lucky :D I have placed another order, hopefully this goes through...

So far @OGroteKoning my honest opinion and this is coming from a Note2, Galaxy S3 and a Galaxy S4 is that the UI of this Nexus is amazing its so clean, so snappy and really well put together I love it. The new white and smooth fading of kitkat is awesome, Screen is beautiful really stunning along with the crisp interface they fit like a glove.

Overall my build of my nexus is wonderful power and volume buttons are pretty fixed in place not loose like reviews say they actually feel better than my s3 and 4 did.

The device is definatly the snappiest iv ever played with for one. As for battery i cannot report thus far as I unboxed it yesterday and had it on the usb cable charging while i loaded up my pictures and apps and what not. Then had it on and off and forgot to put it to charge full over night. Ill charge it tonight fully and Ill have a real world test tomorrow when im out and about and its on the car bluetooth and all that stuff. It has all my apps on it already so shall definably report for you.

Overall this device is so quick and i dont know if its just me but im really really amazed at the sleekness of the UI and the device. Something about it that im just mad about.

Thanks Michaelmw. I'm looking forward to the battery life test. How does it run on LTE? Which network are you on?

This is my life for today, charged to full over usb is that matters. About 3 hours screen time with alot of faffing and playing on the device.
Vodacom reception is really **** at my house, saw 4 hours screen time I was in a better area and less faffing.

Thanks calypso .. .but oh boy... That is rather disappointing. Did you make a lot of phone calls? In my experience, if your battery is depleted in about 14hrs, you probably have some 5hrs screen on time or spent a long time on phone calls. Apart from the shoddy network (which can cause major drain), what processes are running that sucks the battery like that?

Some other reports here

Can't expect much from the battery size anyways I'm always around a plug or car charger so it doesn't bother me much

Care to report type of usage and battery life please?

I have been getting about 3 hours screen on time.
This does depend on personal usage though.. I leave my wifi on, data on, gps on, bluetooth on (for connecting to the car), google now on, location reporting and history on....Within Wifi setting switched off network notification and scanning always available.
Frankly my first few days weren't great as I was using the phone a lot playing around with it but I think it is slowly improving or maybe I am just imagining it...lol

Seems like there is a Media server process using up most of the battery. Will do some googling to find out what this is.

I'm not too concerned with "bad" battery life, unless I can't make 12 hours without a charge from fairly moderate usage.

But I do believe that battery life will improve over time.
