I've tried to receive assistance from customs support on this document - no success
That is why I would like to hear couple of factual cases with this particular phone - how much it is going to cost to bring the phone in the country.

Whether it should be a fixed fee or not, makes no difference. Customs don't apply it that way- there are a number of threads where people confirm this.

Ja, had to revert back to vlc until the update came . my toddler was shattered, could not figure out why his videos was not working

Yup. Works a charm.

I saved my root from 4.4 using SuperSU's pro version.

Contact the courier company, ascertain the customs charge, pay it, and get your phone...

I am with Vodacom. Just did a sim swap this morning and waiting for it to be activated.Hopefully I wont be experiencing issues.

I'm with Vodacom, and my N5 (USA version) works fine. I've set the preferred network type to 3G, seeing as the LTE won't work and I didn't want to waste battery with the phone searching for useless signals.
