Google Nexus 5

I did mine via OTA. I was rooted. I seem to have lost the root now. I will have to re do that. No data lost though.

howsit guys is your mms working on the n5? those who are on mtn ?
mine was working and now it stopped again... hangouts

I'm tempted to, but just wanted to experience getting the Android update as it was released. I'll wait a little longer and then follow you up on that if it doesn't come through - though that would be odd.

I got the update, it downloaded and then I pressed the update/install button. It rebooted into recovery (TWRP), but then I could not find the file to install - where does it sit?

My whole process was automated, it asked for a reboot, I clicked yes and it booted up with no further questions.
I am going to try to reroot today sometime though.

Same here. Install actually aborted and have booted back up and no sign of the update being available? Any advice?

I downloaded the full firmware from Google - will update like I did the N7. Use Nexus Root Toolkit (NRT) to install the firmware, root and then install Franco Kernel again. Just change a setting in NRT so it doesn't wipe the device. Or look a page or so back - JacqueR has a painless way to install it too.

Cool, will at both the the JacqueR post a NRT.
