Yeah I was having similar thoughts funnily enough just now. I do get the advantage of having a screen that size and all - for me it's all about reading full books or longform articles on; you just can't compare it with an iPhone size. But then I had the wife's iPhone in my hand and I remembered how much more comfortable it is just to hold. Your hand never feels stretched out or uncomfortable with the iPhone, and that's a real factor. But if you could pair the 5.9" phone with a watch and offload all the petty phone-y stuff to the watch interface, it could possibly work. Especially for me if I could use the watch when in the gym with a bluetooth headset, I'd be over the moon. Of course, for me an iPhone 6+ with an Apple Watch would be the combo to die for but hey... I've got kids :l

Yeah, I've been spoiled by the screen on the G2 now, especially coming from a 4.3" screen. So a 5.9" screen in itself is appealing, in hand size factor aside. Watching videos and reading articles are significantly better experiences on this device than arguably the Nexus 7 I had, because of the better size to screen ratio.

Damn you Google, now you've made me want this

Seems to be fairly nailed down that this is what it's going to be.

Still not a big fan of the design or the size, tbh. :(

Well, if it really is a larger Moto X, it may have the best in hand feel of any phablet around, and feel a lot smaller than it actually is. I thought that the Moto X was gorgeous, though.

Doesn't look like there is a LED notification light on the front. Cannot be. :(

I totally believe the feel-in-hand aspect, but I find the Moto X strange. I think it looks pretty good, but I don't actually want it.

Come to think of it, we have a massive account with Google... Perhaps I should ask around

Months overdue on my upgrade. Bring on the hoops, I'm ordering one.
