Yeah I was having similar thoughts funnily enough just now. I do get the advantage of having a screen that size and all - for me it's all about reading full books or longform articles on; you just can't compare it with an iPhone size. But then I had the wife's iPhone in my hand and I remembered how much more comfortable it is just to hold. Your hand never feels stretched out or uncomfortable with the iPhone, and that's a real factor. But if you could pair the 5.9" phone with a watch and offload all the petty phone-y stuff to the watch interface, it could possibly work. Especially for me if I could use the watch when in the gym with a bluetooth headset, I'd be over the moon. Of course, for me an iPhone 6+ with an Apple Watch would be the combo to die for but hey... I've got kids :l
Yeah, I've been spoiled by the screen on the G2 now, especially coming from a 4.3" screen. So a 5.9" screen in itself is appealing, in hand size factor aside. Watching videos and reading articles are significantly better experiences on this device than arguably the Nexus 7 I had, because of the better size to screen ratio.
Damn you Google, now you've made me want this
