Greencom

Wow, I see things are moving really fast now. The contractor who put the trunking up leading to my unit asked me last night if it was done yet. :/

I am being delayed because of things like this....
 
@F1ve_Claw, are you connected and enjoying awesome fibre yet? Hope they plan on installing the ONT's in Keswick sooooon.
 
I just got a call from my child minder. My 1,5 year old son threw something against my 51 inch TV and it's cracked. Processed a claim and a new 1 is being fitted tomorrow. So, after that bad news I get a call that my ONT is being fitted right now.

Bittersweet day for me. FML
 
Just got a phonecall from a lady working at DNA fibre, asking if my line has been installed. Seems they are doing a quick final check and then hopefully it's ONT time.
 
I have sent 3 whatsapp messages to Paul and 3 or 4 emails with just no response at all. I don't think he is the best person to represent Greencom on a platform like MyBB. I will try something else later this morning. Trying to have few questions answered about making installation payments are proving to be a nightmare. I hope the support once a customer is live is a lot better.

Also sent him some messages, which get read almost immediately, but never replied to.

I have found Lesley at Greencom is good at responding to account queries. She generally does respond; I needed my contract number etc.
 
I just spoke to Jennifer and my line will be made live this evening. Hopefully when I am back in Jozi tomorrow I can connect the new tv and internet up...

Ah, nice!

Not to make light of the student protests (access to tertiary education is not something to take for granted, and getting my fibre is not nearly as important), but I feel Keswick residents should head out to Barbeque Downs and protest ourselves. Seems to be the only way to get anything done.
