It's Spar's 50th birthday. They have plenty of specials until Sunday.
 
PnP has the Gold Nestle Coffee for R73.99 - Checkers and other outlets are R83.99
PnP has Twinsaver toilet paper 15 rolls for R39.99 usually R80.00
PnP has Mama's Pies for R39.99 other outlets selling R60.00 pack of 6

there was something else i want to stock up on at PnP that is on special at the moment. will let you know when i remember.
 
First time I have seen this thread. Good concept. I will add stuff if I see anything.

Nescafe gold often goes on special for R65-R69.99
 
Dairybell 6 x 1l milk goes for R44.99 at checkers.
Buy 2kg of skip and get 1kg for free for R54.99

Ass. bottles of fruit jam, Buy one, get one free R14.99 ( i feel abit dodge buying freshers stuff but bought a test strawberry jam during the week and its not bad at all so went and stocked up today)
18 eggs for R17
cheese R49kg
mushrooms 2x for R20

For once PNP has awesome specials, just stocked up on 2 weeks groceries inc. meat for less than R1k. Everything I bought was on special. Family of 5.

the twinsaver toilet rolls are no longer on special at PnP. but they do have the 10's for R31.99, they are selling for R41.99 at checkers.
PnP has Skip 750 ml liquid for R52.99 or R56.99 just check that one. i bought last week and this week. just put it in the shopping trolley because it was on special.
 
Die vliespot in Lewisham (Krugersdorp) has amazing droeworse and biltong and the normal price is between R100 and R120 per KG. Their meat is also well priced. I drive out once every 3 months or so to stock up the deep freezer.
 
Ok, I think we need to re-open this thread to get to know where all the specials are. Especially with the increase in living cost.

So I went to the new Checkers at Waterfall Corner at Waterfall Estate Johannesburg and they have a couple of nice specials on. I dont know if these are for this store only or for all Checkers stores. Some of the stuff I bought:
