i would appreciate help since the guys i am playing with now have just moved into the post-searing level thus they cant reach Jaks Bend till they complete the Prince mission by the obelisks.

what is your Xfire nick or GW character name so i could perhaps find you online for that specific mission?

is Orion a NPC you can take on from Jaks Bend's list of henchmen?

Yes, Orion is available at Yaks. He stands in the middle of the row just right of the flag pole. He is a fire ele, so does plenty damage in snow areas.

My GW name is: Gus The Wall

Hey Gus and Gals, are any of you out there interessted in joining a Guild in GuildWars?

If so then you are more than welcome to join our guild called 'Leet Badgers'. Need help on quests? You have'nt experienced Guild Was until you've joined a guild. We already have a Cape and a Guild Hall (for GvG) and we're a bunch of guys and gals who are really helpfull and fun.

Also check out our Website and Forum at http://www.badgers.za.net/

So if there are any guys or gals looking for a guild ours is perfect for you.

Just whisper any of us ingame or post your name on this thread and I'll add you to the guild.

U can whisper Darwin Homes, Uncle Necro or Shogun Xeqter and we'll invite you as soon as we can. Its a helluva lot of fun :p .

Thanks

on levels points there are no problems as you can re-allocate points where you see fit.

skills wise you need to complete quests or buy them from skills masters in towns. You can get all the skills you need but only use up to 8 within the toolbar.

prep yourself before each mission with the skills you will mostly use coz once in the mission instance you cant do so. ;)

LOL okay thanks for the advice. I want to see if anyone needs a US wow account first who wants to swop for a GW's account. Don't really feel like wasting money if I can help it.

I've been reading up a bit,

There are quests that are going to require more than one character too complete.
Does this mean that once in a Guild i will need to request someone too assist? Even though they might have already performed this quest themselves before?

You can often find random people to do a quest/mission with you. Also, there are hench (computer controlled) characters available that you can take with you. They normally work fairly well. Guild members often help, even if they have already done the quest themselves, if you have a hard time with something, or just for fun. You will see how it all works pretty soon.

Yes, one can only change the party in towns, including adding/removing players and hench. All towns post-searing has hench available. The hench available in each town is about the right level for the monsters in that area. In the first town that has hench, there is a quest to train you how to use them, so GW makes it all very easy.

Edit: Also: Doing the "Adventure with an Ally" quest in presearing (where you are now) is both important to do for the Resurrect Signet reward and to give you an initial idea on how to form groups.

*sigh* , was running nicely last night, very jerky today ....

EDIT : I presume the number on the top right of the login screen is the updates? Did 50MB last night, sitting on 8MB again tonight, might be the source of the jerkiness again.
