Gym Supplements

Anybody tried Chrome's New brand they pushing? (3D NUTRITION) Would like to try it, but had bad experiences using anything other than Nutritech, but keen on trying a brand new product?
 
Got an email today saying that certain Chrome Shops are running "tasting" days at the stores for 3D Nutrition. Might be an option, otherwise just buy a small tub to try.
 
Yeah, just ordered the 1kilo Cream Soda flavor now, will try it out. Hopefully its not the crap quality of USN that causes bloating and other terrible side effects.

I called the post office for info on my parcel and they said it is at the Cape Mail Hub and apparently they are waiting for invoice. She gives me a number to call to get to customs (their switchboard).
I call the number and the lady say's that all the lines are busy but she was kind enough to give me the local tracking number.

After i inquired she said that i can come to the Cape mail hub and collect my parcel from customs if i would like. So i do so, and when i get there i get this surprise.....

R973.17 customs on a parcel value of R2435!!! thats 40%.
Was epicly pissed but just paid and took my parcel home. Need to consider next purchase carefully.

the silver lining is that i am really impressed with the Salted caramel. I am generally partial to the more subtle whey powder flavours and it really hits the spot.

Wow, I had 0 customs fee to pay. Seems like it just depends on how they feel on the day..

Their vanilla casein was going at a really good price and I also stocked back up on Choc Mint Whey (just love that flavor). Got a small Choc Casein as well. Just want to try it out and will come in handy when I start bulking in winter again. Nice pre-bed dessert snack.

Lets see how long it takes to get cleared by customs this time around. Nothing essential so not in a hurry.

Ah too bad you didn't see my post in the other thread...the MP Choc Casein is nasty....NOTHING like Nutritech. It has a grainy, dry texture, doesn't taste like chocolate and has an awful aftertaste. I'm still trying to think of how to get rid of my 1kg bag. I might experiment with baking...

Ag nee dammit!

Oh well. Let's call it school fees and maybe just maybe they will produce okayish protein pancakes.

Order was split into two shipments and I see one package arrived at the post office today. Will phone them tomorrow and ask if I can collect. Strangely the other package is still stuck at customs. Hopefully it gets released soon too.

Jury still out on 3D Nutrition, but marketing is good.

Thanks. I see on the details of trakpak, they tried to deliver after 5pm. Reception would be closed then...

Hopefully they again during normal work hours!
 
Does trakpak deliver to your house or do you have to go to the post office to fetch it?

Gets delivered to physical address. By Post Office.

My first package was just delivered. R270 customs + VAT fee. R2000 order. (R4000 total/2)

Ah man.

I sent it to my home address because I didn't think they actually delivered to the address itself. So I might miss it. Do they phone you before they deliver? Or after?

EDIT: My parcel is currently at customs.

They just pitched up today. Bloody SAPO

Previously they phoned and informed me of the fees payable. Luckily I had enough cash on me today.
 
So...

What do you think I can do? They will probably attempt to deliver to my home when I'm not there.

Best bet would be to phone your local post office (Closest to your delivery address) and ask them if you can pick it up there.
