Gym Supplements

I went on this recommendation and it really is the best Cookies and Cream I've tasted with water. Miles ahead of the likes of USN and nutritech. Thanks.

Does anyone have experience with any other Cipla flavours?

I ordered another tub Creme Brulee based on researching Cipla's FB page - seems to be one of the favourites. But from what i read most others looks good too.Can just pick on your personal preference.

Fitness people drink Almond milk. Dischem and Fruit and Veg city usually have them on sale.

Tried the swiss chocalate its decent but what i dont like is the mixability of the whey its very clumpy. Those prices are very good though and im ready to give them another chance.

R300 for 1KG creatine, that will be the day.

Just a heads up, Basic Supps hasn't been delivering orders or replying to any emails for a while now, even though customers are placing orders, paying and receiving invoices. Their orders just aren't being sent out and any attempts to contact them are going unanswered.

I'd post a link to a thread on another forum regarding this matter but I don't think the link will go down to well on MYBB, so there's a google link, the first result may or may not provide more details ;)

Damn, thats a shame, I used to use them back in the day, they were considerably cheaper than their competitors and never had issues with them.

Dammit missed out on the Nutritec, I love the Choc Mint.

I see USN are coming out with a Bar One flavour, their blue lab series I think. Some wacky flavours coming out these days. I saw a caramel popcorn the other day.

I'm thinking of dumping all supplements and go for whole foods only.

Experiment for 6 months.

Best thing I ever did was dump all supps and went for decent food.
Although it's pretty tricky munching 3 boiled eggs after each workout and then 2 with my oats each morning.

Experiment for 6 months.

I keep supplements to a minimum.

I supplement the following things:
Vitamin D (it is difficult to get enough of it when you work a 9-5, even in summer)
Omega 3 (again not easy to get enough of it)
Zinc (you really need to be eating beef everyday to get enough zinc, which is expensive)
Unflavoured unsweetened whey protein powder, around 25g per day, maximum.

I limit the amount of protein powder that I have per day, because I want most of my protein to come from whole foods. Like steak, chicken, eggs, cheese, nuts etc. If you are getting 50g of protein from whey protein, I think you are doing something wrong.

@Ancalagon, are you using a multivitamin to get the vitamin D & zinc? What omega 3 source do you use?
