Half price uncapped ADSL promotion

Cybersmart has launched a promotion on its business uncapped ADSL bundles, through which clients will only pay for data on every second month for a year.

If you look at the figure, that statement is not accurate. Notice how it ends for new clients end of April and not end of May. So technically you are paying for 6 months and getting 5 months free. If it went on for a year, you would pay for 6 months and get 6 months free.

Misleading advertising if you ask me.
 
but how is their network??
have only heard bad things about them ... but have no personal experience with them, so would like to know from existing users about their network performance
is there shaping/throttling/etc??
 
*Sigh* At the risk of sounding like a broken record..maar why S.A. service providers can't you give us affordable broadband?Oh what the heck...

You cannot blame the ISP's for line speed.
 
Their network is not worth the trouble, had a very frustrating experience. Had to move after I singed up without doing my homework.
 
Cybersmart is shockingly bad! Signed up to discover massive throttling (under 1Mb on a 10Mb line). Complained within 7 hours of switching, got bumped around for days, before finally cancelling after three weeks to discover a calendar month notice period.

Do not bother, it's just not worth it!
