Handy Must Know Linux Applications

Yo,

I recently installed Ubuntu LTS 10.04... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

One thing though... I recently upgraded Wine to v1.3 via:

adding it to Software ppp command. and

sudo apt-get install wine

But ever since this update ...Wine crashes after 15 mins - I am running World of Warcraft :P...

Error: terminal process failure - wine

Any help will be much appreciated...

Vrede,
Vile

It looks almost identical to Rhythmbox. Is it less resource intensive than RB?

I have not checked, but I was a long time Amarok 1.4 user. Rhythmbox fails to read some of my tags (or only reads some of the data). Every other player works fine.
AFAIK, the have fixed some of the tag issues in 10.10, but I like Clem.

Has anyone found anything that comes close to Visio or Omnigraphle from the Apple Mac world to do network diagrams and the like ?

LOL

I need to look at this when I have time. I installed it but I cannot find it in the menu. Guess you need to work with it in the terminal? The road less traveled is not always easier. :D
