I've complained in the past, ranted & was somewhat unhappy. I'm eating humble pie of late as firstly IDM is working perfectly again and secondly my speeds are back to decent and I have absolutely no complaints. There's the occassional disconnect which is normal as after all this is wireless. My speed tests this afternoon:

I'm still grumpy about the whole thing. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Yes were back up to speed BUT:

Through the whole thing... 10+ phone calls to them (not including the stuffed call centre) not one call back.
No reason given for the lack of access.
No reason given for the lack of service.
No apology whatsoever.

Honestly what's stopping them just doing it all again?

They think they can just start supplying what they should have been doing from the start and the South African Consumer must now just pretend it never happened?

Well since this is SA I guess we have to....

Yeah there's no excuse for poor customer service Madman88. We just have to be positive and I'm sure they'll iron out the creases eventually. That said remember TIA - This Is Africa :rolleyes:
 
I am still very Happy with the product that Neotel is supplying me. Now, if only they can give me a second phone for the cottage in my back yard. There product is good, but there service is very bad indeed!!!!!
