Evetech had a gigabyte Vega 64 on sale for R5000 which got sold out fairly quick so I had to settle for the gigabyte rx580 8gb mi that was selling for R2500,felt very salty about missing out on the Vega though.

I was very happy to win this Fonsi Premium 30000mAh Power Bank with Samsung Cells as the Mystery Gadget in one of the recent One-Day MyBroadband Giveaways.

As with most of the current 20000+mAh power banks, the capacity is greatly exaggerated (probably closer to 16000mAh) but it has been working reliably (both 1A and 2A ports) every day for the last few weeks. It is a very generic design and does not support any type of quick charge method and takes around 10.5 hours to charge from empty to full using a 5V 2A charger.

I am very interested to see whether the installed Samsung cells will outperform/outlast the Grade A Chinese batteries in my Adata PT100 10000mAh power bank. I usually only drain it down to 50% as I feel a bit uneasy about leaving any power bank charging overnight unattended in case it were to develop a fault and start a fire. I might consider purchasing a second one if it continues to work reliably over the next few months.

Any recommendations for 20000mah or greater power banks that has a USB-C connector on it? Can't seem to find any. For most of my devices, it's now usb-c to usb-c cables and with these power banks, I would be forced to use a dongle to charge my devices . Thx

Anker has those, but they not cheap. Think you can import it via Amazon.

The problem with these power banks available locally is they are designed for macbooks or samsungs or whatever, there is no universals and every purchase is a gamble.
