WD 2.5" 4TB portable hard drive at R1499 on Daily deals
Thx, was in my cart since last week. Bought two now, just missed the 1TB SSD they had today too.

Found this on ebay, 2x 14 day ultimate game pass for Xbox/pc. Total charges to my card was R59.

You have activate the 2nd 14 days after the first one runs out.

Works on new and old accounts.

Used in za xbox account.

Ultimate 1st month is 1usd directly from ms afaik, what you got from ebay is also 30 days, right?

Yep, 1usd deal is for new accounts, have used mine up.
If you let it expire, the 1USD deal comes back after a few weeks.

Edit. Thats what I have done. So far I have played the best offers of GP and given MS $3. Still not sure if it was worth it but thats a separate discussion.

Totally worth it. Get two and pair them for a stereo setup in the room.

I would rather pay R123 extra and get a new one as you could have problems with a refurbished device. The refurbished units have a six month warranty vs 12 months on the new units. The refurbished devices do not appear to come with a power adapter which is worth more than R123.

I'm sure that Takealot will be giving a good discount on these devices on Black Friday which is two months away!

I bought one if these refurbished units within the last 2 months and it has all the components (power etc).

The warranty is only 6 months, but I own 5 of these and have never experienced an issue in over 3 years now. Functionality is continuously evolving through software upgrades too.

Good to hear some positive feedback. Does the unit look new or are there signs of wear? How is it packed? Can you give it to somebody as a gift?

On Black Friday last year I bought one of the Takealot 3rd Gen. OEM Chromecasts which was R40 cheaper than the original product and it did not come with a power supply which was a bit of a disappointment.

1. Why wait? One buys these things for a reason. There's a new version as well. Just going to use it as a voice controller in basement, so less spent, the better.
2. If no power adapter, I can send it back. Will see.

Normally generic oem packaging but not sure of these. Will report back Tuesday.

The unit looks brand new and it is packaged in OEM packaging - brown box with Google mini sticker as well as the required ICASA sticker.

I see that mine was actually from smartspeakers.co.za as a 3rd-party seller on Takealot. Also available directly from them.

Can recommend.
