I've seen videos of 4k at 100% scaling and everything look way too small. Are you using it as your primary monitor? I'd be using at a second screen and a bit worried that the scaling will be messed up going from a lower res screen to a higher res one.
And yeah I think console gaming will be fine for this monitor, can't afford the hardware to run PC games at that res and frame rate![]()
I use my 27" 4K at 100% as a secondary monitor, and at wrist-distance away from me I manage well. My primary is a 31.5" 1440p monitor that I use for gaming. No issues using it like that.
I did a quick test for you scaling the 4K display up to 150%, and visual studio, GoG Galaxy and Chrome all display nice and sharp, as expected.
The only "issue" is the "resize jump" when you drag a window over from one monitor to another. I think it is about at the halfway mark where it will change size, and you end up with a 150% scaled window half in your 100% scaled screen. It's a non issue really.
